Fair enough. But, does it bother you at all that the letter writer has stated that you don't have the facilities to comprehend a debate that is going on right now? Judging by your well articulated comment I think that you are capable of formulating a well reasoned opinion on any subject of interest or concern to yourself. Now, I may agree or disagree with you based on the merits of your argument, but I wouldn't stoop as low as to say that you can't understand it.

It's scary that there are people that don't think the same as you? The writer of the letter is entitled to their opinion, no matter how offensive you think it is. Just as you are entitled to your opinion, no matter how offensive it is to me. And it is.

I agree with most of that. I don't agree with the implicit idea that we should stop thinking, and let our alien overlords think for us, and capitalism isn't as inherently bad as that writer seems to feel. But with great power comes -- or should come -- great responsibility, and that's where the current manifestation of capitalism has failed us. We (the country as a whole) rewarded greed and arrogance, and ignored the vast majority. That has to change. Despite the assumption by those who succeed by stealing that such is how Obama won, that isn't the case.

Is he perfect, the Chosen One? Oh, hell no. But is he at least trying to make life better, while simultaneously working to fix a broken financial environment, be smarter in our foreign policy, and figure out what to do in our wars? Yes. And only a willfully blind person can deny that.

You know: Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Steele. Those guys.
